Law enforcement is a very tough crowd to teach. We are very guarded and don’t do the classroom setting well. Matt did a phenomenal job of making everyone feel comfortable and receptive. 38 years in law enforcement, and his style is one of the best I’ve seen.
Matt’s teaching method is stellar; he uses humor, real-life examples, comedy, and relatable terms to convey the message he is trying to impart.
As a part of our annual training, we brought Matt in to speak to our administrative team about mental health, both internal and external. Typically, we bring folks in that one of our members has seen or heard, or based on a referral. Matt was neither; we just randomly chose him. Wow, did we hit a home run! I would strongly encourage your business to take advantage of Matt’s talent. You will not be disappointed.
Matt’s presentation was worth more than the money and time. There was not one complaint about him or his material from our staff, and if anyone knows cops and training, that is highly unusual.
